Raspberries

The remainder of the raspberry plants were planted last night in the falling dark, twelve in all. I noticed this morning that one Poblano pepper seed and several more basil have sprouted on top of the grow lights. If it is not raining too hard tonight, I will plant the asparagus.

  1. Poblano-raspberry salsa sounds good!

I harvested lettuce for one large salad by thinning the lettuce. Also picked about 12 baby spinach leaves. These are seeds I casually put out. They did well because I built up the soil so much during the year. Makes ALL the difference. I know....I'm singing to the choir.

  2. It won't be long before you will be harvesting buckets of greens. I think that I am looking at another week or two before I can start harvesting. I thought that I was on top of things this year, but realized in late March that wasn't the case. Next year...
