Welcome!

I will be sharing my experience of creating a garden with my wife and daughters in a small village south of Buffalo, NY. We started early this year, though not as early as we could have. We brought out our seed packets at the beginning of March and investigated which could be started. We discovered that some of the seeds could have been started in mid-February. Our average last frost in Buffalo is about May 1. Right now we have lots of things growing under lights and we have planted one raised bed full of peas, parsley, chard, carrots, beets, broccoli, cabbage, and lettuce.
